Adverb Phrase
Adverb
Phrase consists of one or more adverbs as in:
The
dog barks [very loudly].
Adv+Adv=Adv.Phr.
The
last adverb in the phrase is the head
of the Adv. Phr. (loudly). The other is the modifier
(very).
vFunction
The
only function of Adverb Phrase in a sentence is an Adverbial.
e.g.
I run [very quickly].
