Verb Phrase consists of possibly more than one verb.
e.g.
I [study]
English.
I [am studying] English.
I [have studied] English.
I [have been studying] English.
I [will have been studying] English.
VP: Verb
vFunction
of VP
The
only function of VP is VERB.
e.g.
She [is traveling] abroad.
VP: Verb
ØThe Main Verb of
the verb phrase is called the Head
Verb (traveling). The other is called the Auxiliary
Verb functioning as a Modifier
in the VP.
