Compound sentence

The combination of two simple sentences and a conjunction forms a compound sentence.

e.g.  Dary goes to school, but Dara comes back home.

       We are going to the market, and we are buying a lot of        vegetables.

       Dary has a lot of money, yet she does not have a car.
