Prepositional Phrase
A
Prepositional Phrase is made up of a Preposition and a Noun Phrase.
e.g.
I see him [in [my
classroom]].
Pre + NP= PP
There
is no head in a PP because the two components are important.
vFunction
The
only function of PP is an Adverbial
in the sentence.
e.g.
She lost the bag [at two o’clock].
